Exam Entry Requirements
- Student must be entered for exams for the specific subject and board studied with STEMpath Academy in the Summer 2028 series.
- Proof of registration from an official exam centre must be provided by the end of February 2028 (for example, an email confirmation from the exam centre, using an offical company email).
- Please ensure the exam centre is willing to confirm entry and results to STEMpath Academy, with your permission, if we contact them.
Proof of Results
- In the event of a refund request, families must supply official proof of grades from the exam centre (for example, the statement of results).
- STEMpath Academy may verify these details directly with the exam centre by phone or visit. Please ensure the exam centre is willing to confirm entry and results to STEMpath Academy, with your permission, if we contact them.
- Refund decisions are based on the official grades recorded by the exam centre.
Refund Levels
The guarantee is applied on a subject-by-subject basis. Only the Year 11 fees for the STEM subject or subjects where the final grade is below 7 are eligible for refund; fees for subject or subjects where Grade 7–9 is achieved are not refunded.
Where all conditions are met but the final GCSE results in STEM subjects do not reach the expected standard, families may be eligible for a refund of Year 11 tuition fees for the subject or subjects as follows:
Below Grade 4
If a student fulfils all programme conditions but achieves below Grade 4 in the GCSE STEM subject or subjects studied with STEMpath Academy:
→ The family will receive a full refund of Year 11 tuition fees for that subject or subjects.
Grades 4–6
If a student fulfils all programme conditions but achieves final grades between 4 and 6 in the GCSE STEM subject or subjects studied with STEMpath Academy:
→ The family will receive a 50% refund of Year 11 tuition fees for that subject or subjects.
“‘Year 11 tuition fees’ refers only to the standard Year 11 term fees and does not include the separate £490 exam-support fee.”
